Vergnügter Lohn der Elternliebe!
O süßer Sorgen süße Frucht!
Ein Vogel folgt dem zarten Triebe,
Und nährt mit Freuden seine Zucht.
Doch weder Storch noch Taube bauen
Den Kindern ein gewisses Nest.
Der Mensch nur kann sie glücklich schauen,
Eh er sie aus den Armen läßt.
