Ich hab´ die Sonne des Tages gesehn,
Nun ist es Zeit zum Schlafengehn.
Nun ist es Zeit, nach Sorgen und Wachen
Die Augen in Frieden zuzumachen.
Und wem mein Schatten im Herzen lag,
Der soll mich vergessen am dritten Tag.
Doch wem ich ein wenig Licht gegeben,
Der laß´ im Herzen mich weiterleben.
