Es stimmt genau, was man sagt: »Die Liebe ist verjagt und vertrieben an den entlegendsten Ort.« Wir haben von ihr nur noch den Begriff, nichts als der Name ist uns geblieben. Aber auch den haben wir so zerredet, so abgenutzt und verbraucht, dass die Todmüde sich ihres Namens nun schämt und ihr das Wort zuwider ist.
