Euer Landsmann ist ein Eigensinn und ein Besserwisser, der sich dem neuen Lande, drin er nun lebt, nicht anbequemen und alles nach der Weise seiner alten Heimat anordnen und regeln will. Er gehorcht wohl, weil er im Gehorsam erzogen ist, aber es ist ein toter Gehorsam, und ein toter Gehorsam ist unfruchtbar.
